Dear Shirley, I hope you can rest a bit easier knowing Bill is no longer suffering. I will miss his friendship and jokes! I am however, Honored to have known Bill and to have been able to serve with him on the Babbs Construction Committee. We will all miss Bill, but will forever feel his presence at Babbs. To "Pammy" norcross and her family, Pam, I don't know if you remember me, but we were on Suffield High School's girl's track team in the 1980s. You were the star miler and I was the star hurdler. Well, it's been a long time since then and I'm so sorry that you lost your Dad. I lost my Dad back in May 19, 2007. I'm so happy that you have married since then and have settled in Maryland. The only way I know what happened to the Suffield High School class of 1982 and 1983 is to learn about things unfortunately in The Hartford Courant -- often times, in the obituary column. You know, sometime back, I ran into Latonya and Patti from Hartford (the younger set of our track team toward the years of 1982 and 1983). And I heard a rumor that Napps had come down with some ill-fated malady which would take its toll over the years. Anyway, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and I only wish the best for you and your family... Many thanks for always cheering me on in those track meets. Some of those are my best memories of Suffield High... Catherine Kriss

Dear Shirley and Family: I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I saw him a couple of years ago at Monday night golf at Edgewood and always looked forward to seeing him on those golf nights. He was one of my favorite bosses back in the day at Combustion Engineering. He was a true gentleman and a pleasure to know. He will be missed.
